Mr. Fruehling has over 15 years of experience with all aspects of trademark practice including trademark selection, clearance, prosecution, enforcement, and defense. He is also experienced with domain name issues and disputes and copyright matters. Mr. Fruehling began trademark law practice in 1994 when he joined the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office as an examining attorney. In 1997, he went into private practice to build his skills in domestic and international trademark practice. His current practice includes counseling clients on issues such as service marks, trade names, trade dress, trade secrets, search clearance, prosecution, contracts, licenses, assignments, releases, and domain name and other computer law disputes. Mr. Fruehling has worked with companies and individuals ranging from publicly traded corporations to entrepreneurs in a wide variety of product and service areas including software, home and personal care products, food and beverages, and on-line services.
