Margie Aoki collaborates with inventors and business owners to help them protect and benefit from their ideas. Her practice focuses on the procurement, analysis, and licensing of patents across a wide range of technologies, including medical devices, heavy duty vehicles, alternative and clean energy, and consumer products. She also counsels clients on other general intellectual property matters, including trademarks, copyrights, and domain names. Prior to joining COJK in 2003, Margie spent four years working as a mechanical systems engineer at Intel Corporation.
