Ms. Hawkins joined Christensen O’Connor Johnson Kindness PLLC as a clerk in 1999, becoming an associate in 2001 after receiving her law degree from Brigham Young University. Her practice focuses on the exciting aspects of intellectual property law including trademark and copyright law, agreements, assignments, Internet law, domain name disputes, search and clearance, prosecution, TTAB proceedings, and IP audits. Ms. Hawkins also provides pro bono services to local non-profit organizations such as Seattle Symphony and Seattle Opera, and for the past four years has been on the board of Shunpike, a Seattle organization dedicated to promoting local art by providing assistance to local artists. Ms. Hawkins was also on the board of the King County Washington Women Lawyers for several years, and was president of that organization in 2005.
