Ward Brown joined COJK in 1991 as an associate and became a member in 1994. He brought to the firm a background in patent procurement and electrical engineering. Currently acting in an Of Counsel capacity, Ward’s practice spans a broad range of intellectual property services including patent application preparation and prosecution for mechanical, electrical, and medical inventions; trademark clearance and registration practice; and client counseling in other areas of intellectual property. Ward has served as a trustee of the Intellectual Property Section of the Washington State Bar Association, and president of the Washington State Patent Law Association.
