Mr. Shelton joined the firm as a Member in 1988 and has over 30 years of experience in intellectual property law. His primary focus is patent procurement in the rapidly expanding fields of biotechnology, biomedical and pharmaceutical research, and chemistry. In addition to his patent work, Mr. Shelton provides vital counsel regarding patent portfolio evaluation, technology transfer and licensing; and patentability, infringement and product clearance opinions.
