Faye L. Tomlinson, Member

Ms. Tomlinson joined COJK in an of counsel capacity in 1988, and became a member in 2003. Her practice encompasses trademarks, copyrights, unfair competition, intellectual property licensing, anti-counterfeiting, and regulatory affairs with an emphasis on copyrights. Prior to joining COJK, Ms. Tomlinson was a microbiologist and chemist as well as Director of Legal and Regulatory Affairs and in-house counsel at Crescent Foods in Seattle. Ms. Tomlinson lectures at the University of Washington on intellectual property issues and has taught numerous seminars regarding the prevention of counterfeiting and piracy. She is certified by the Federal Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit as an expert witness in trademark law, and has advised the European Union on establishing anti-counterfeiting programs.
