Mary E. Atkinson, Associate
Ms. Atkinson joined COJK in 2008 as an associate. She brings with her a strong background in molecular biology and genetics, having spent 10 years as a research scientist at the University of Washington. As in-house patent counsel for a small pharmaceutical company for 5 years, in addition to her responsibilities for the company's intellectual property, she also gained experience in licensing, due diligence, and a variety of corporate ageements, including agreements associated with conducting clinical trials world-wide. Ms. Atkinson's practice focuses on patent prosecution in the chemical and pharmaceutical fields, technology licensing, intellectual property due diligence, infringement, validity, and freedom to operate opinions.
