Each year, on April 22, the world recognizes Earth Day, the annual event to raise awareness and create a global impact on environmental conservation. This year, EARTHDAY.ORG, the global organizer of Earth Day and the largest recruiter of the environmental movement worldwide, announced the launch of “Earth Week,” which began on April 14 and extends up through Earth Day. In honor of this year’s theme, “Invest in Our Planet,” EARTHDAY.ORG created Earth Day live events to mobilize the masses through major events in every time zone.
