COJK is pleased to be a sponsor of the Japan-America Society of the State of Washington’s (JASSW) Annual Meeting, which this year is titled, “Changes in Diversity and Innovation.”  Professor Nobumasa Akiyama, of the Graduate School of Law and the Graduate School of International and Public Policy at Hitotsubashi University, and David Janes, President of the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology Foundation, will lead the meeting. The meeting, which will commemorate the 50-year anniversary since the signing of the Okinawa Reversion Agreement in June 1971, will include a discussion about how organizations can foster more inclusion and global connection in Okinawa and throughout Japan. The program will take place both in person and online, on April 19, 2022, at 4:15 p.m. (PT) with attendees from around Washington state and from Japan. For more information about the program and to register, please click here.
