COJK was proud to be a sponsor of the University of Washington’s eleventh annual Alaska Airlines Environmental Innovation Challenge (EIC), which concluded on April 3. The competition challenges interdisciplinary student teams to identify significant environmental problems and to develop practical and innovative solutions. Each team designs and builds a prototype directed to their solution, and creates a business plan demonstrating commercial viability. The business plans and prototypes are pitched to a group of judges to compete for seed money for implementing the plan. COJK attorneys Anna Gall and Rhys Lawson participated as judges to select the winners.
