On May 27, 2020, the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) announced a third extension of deadlines for certain patent and trademark filings to accommodate those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.  With the May 31 extensions expiring, the USPTO recognized some businesses will still require relief.  Under the CAREs Act, the USPTO will direct the relief to those who need it on a case-by-case basis.  For more information, please read the USPTO’s official patent and trademark notices.  For questions, please contact your COJK attorney.
