The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) announced that it is seeking nominations for the 2018 National Medal of Technology and Innovation (NMTI), the country’s highest award for technological achievement.  The medal recognizes those individuals, teams, or companies that have had an impact on the nation through technological innovation, commercialization, and/or the strengthening of the United State’s technological workforce.  The deadline for nominations is April 6, 2018.
