COJK Welcomes New Attorney

COJK is pleased to announce the addition of new associate Tim Billick. Tim is a registered patent attorney with a diverse practice that includes intellectual property litigation, trademark and patent procurement, and technology licensing.  Tim has extensive experience in a wide range of technology areas, including fluid mechanics, software, medical diagnostics, and consumer products.  He has experience in all phases of litigation, and has represented clients in jury trials, as well as before the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, the International Trade Commission, and the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.

"We are pleased to welcome Tim to the firm,” said John Denkenberger, co-managing member of the firm and head of the litigation practice group. "His IP experience makes Tim a great addition to the team.”

Prior to joining COJK, Tim was an associate at a Seattle-based IP firm.  He received his J.D. from the University of Washington School of Law and his bachelor's degree in business management from Purdue University. While he was in law school, Tim interned for the Federal Trade Commission and the Honorable Richard L. Young in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana. He is a member of the Copyright Society of the USA and the International Trademark Association, and has served as the Intellectual Property Section Chair of the King County Bar Association.
