Super Lawyers recognized three COJK attorneys in the 2021 edition of the annual publication, naming Fran Jagla, Jerry Nagae, and George Renzoni as “Washington Super Lawyers." Fran Jagla, named to the list since 2015 for her work in trademark law, focuses her practice working with clients to protect their brands in highly regulated areas such as pharmaceuticals, medical devices, wine and spirits, and cannabis. Jerry Nagae, recognized since 2003, practices across all aspects of IP law and provides vital counsel to clients on patents, trademarks, copyrights, IP transactions, and litigation. George Renzoni, selected to the list since 2004, focuses his practice on the procurement of U.S. and foreign patents, patent portfolio strategy and development, technology licensing, and due diligence investigations in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries.

The annual survey is a multiphased process that includes peer nominations and evaluations, combined with independent research, resulting in the rating of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas.
