COJK attorney Tim Billick participated in the presentation and panel discussion, "Legality of Crawling and Scraping, and the Pending LinkedIn Matter," in a joint meeting hosted by the Seattle IP American Inn of Court and Washington State Patent Law Association. The program addressed the legalities of web scraping and crawling, and the potential liability under both the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act and the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. The program took place on February 20, 2020 at the University of Washington Club.
