Makiko Coffland and Kelsey Coplan To Present at IPO Annual Meeting
COJK attorneys Makiko Coffland and Kelsey Coplan will present at the Intellectual Property Owners (IPO) Association’s Annual Meeting this month in Toronto, Canada. Makiko will join the panel discussion, “Global Update on Colour Marks in Trademark Law,” which will discuss highlights from the IPO’s recently published whitepaper, “Protection of Colour/Color Trademarks: An International Perspective,” which both attorneys contributed to with a section on the use of color marks in U.S. trademark law. Kelsey will participate in a panel discussion examining the use of consent and coexistence agreements in trademark prosecution in the session, “Leveraging Letters of Consent & Coexistence Agreements for Trademark Portfolios.”
