Reed Risenmay focuses his practice on preparing and prosecuting patents in the electrical and mechanical engineering-related technologies. With broad knowledge of circuitry and systems, Reed works across a diversity of industries to protect clients’ IP assets both domestically and internationally.  Representative technologies include aerospace, automotive, clean energy and green technology, consumer electronics and products, medical devices, software and information technology, telecommunications, and transportation.

Reed is adept at identifying areas of potential risk or reward for clients, and possesses an acute ability to see the fully formed intersection of technology, business, and law — as well as the ways each piece can be improved to maximize the success of the whole.  His highly tuned attention to detail allows him to get to the heart of the matter and deliver results with accuracy and efficiency.  Reed’s practice extends to conducting legal research and providing litigation support.
