Entrepreneur Workshop: "Protecting Your Intellectual Property"

COJK, in partnership with Northwest Entrepreneur Network (NWEN), will hosts its annual workshop, "Protecting Your Intellectual Property."  This year, the program will be divided into four one-hour lunch sessions.  COJK has identified four key areas of intellectual property (IP) that all startups and entrepreneurs should consider, creating individual sessions to allow you to select which topics are most relevant to you.

Covering everything a startup needs to know about IP, the workshop will discuss patents, trademarks, copyrights, licensing, and IP-related agreements.  Almost every successful company, large or small, develops IP.  Understanding how to properly protect your IP, and how your IP can be leveraged to build barriers to entry, attract investment capital, and license as business assets, prepares entrepreneurs to make the right decisions at the right time.
